Our client is currently seeking a Technical Systems Analyst for a 12 month contract based in the Perth CBD.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical ability as a full stack Microsoft BI developer.
This role will coordinate, design & develop a data solution for the business Process & Metallurgy data. This role will work closely with the Data Management and Analysis Team to ensure a robust solution can be developed that will interface with the current systems being utilised.
Key accountabilities:
- Design and Implement technical solutions in SQL that will provide well-structured, standardised datasets to the business.
- Ensuring that Integration of data that is used by the Metallurgy teams is accurate and up to date
- Monitoring and checking for issues and taking on ownership to resolve them
- Providing technical support for business users of solutions developed and for 3rd party applications
- Adding new features and extending existing features to solutions already developed by the Data Mgmt & Analysis team
Requirements:
- Experience in project management, system design and implementation of database solutions
- Demonstrated experience in the creation of logical and physical data models using UML and corresponding tools.
- Data management, change management & business analysis
- Proven experience in Microsoft database technologies
- Mining background including assay and metallurgy datasets or analysis
- Extensive Technical Knowledge of SQL
- Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Components (MSSQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS)
- Validation of development/ system testing, assisting users with UAT and change management processes.
- Ensure the business engagement, project reporting and project closure phases are executed successfully
- Encourage Agile Methodology: Execute with sprint planning, review and backlog refinement activities
- Performance Tuning, Enhancement and Optimisation
- Use of reporting tools like Tableau is beneficial
- C# sql CLR knowledge would be beneficial but not required
- Tertiary degree in computer science or similar
- Microsoft Certification in MSSQL is beneficial.
