Where we play:

WooliesX Hub is based within a 2 minute walk from Central station and walking distance from all the cafes and restaurants that Surry Hills has to offer. The brand new site has been designed to support flexible working with different spaces for different activities such as collaboration, brainstorming or just chilling out. While this role will be based at Surry Hills you will be expected to travel to Bella Vista as well.

What we are looking for:

The eCom Business Development Manager is a servant leader to the Tribes and is accountable for supporting them in the delivery of end-to-end value in a synchronised way:

The roles key objectives include:

  • Helping to resolve Organisational Impediments identified through the Strategic Retrospectives, transformation team, chapters & guilds.
  • Day to day management of 3rd party contracts and escalations, issues and risks as raised / requested by the Squads.
  • Facilitate cross-team and x-tribe / x-squad dependency practices to identify and manage the end value successfully.
  • Facilitate Big Room planning events, helping the tribal leaders by ensuring that we have alignment across squads and tribes to achieve eComms quarterly goals.
  • Lead the Shaping activities, ensuring that:
    • Inception workshops are run for each new Initiative that has been added to the eComm backlog (In order of priority and just in time for the tribes)
    • Inception workshops involve all areas of the business that are necessary to deliver end-to-end value
    • Initiatives are decomposed into Epics which are stored in the Tribal Backlog and tagged for the tribes to pull
  • Accountability for the accuracy of the Program Board, ensuring that transparency, visibility and status is maintained and is aligned with the Portfolio in JIRA.
  • Resource flex planning for features is carried out by Teams and any specialist resources that may be needed to deliver the feature are identified, obtained and scheduled appropriately.
  • Financial Tracking and management of Feature delivery.

You will need to have:

  • 3+ years Product Owner experience.
  • Agile Coaching experience in business and digital environments.
  • Familiarity and exposure to multiple Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Tribal, Kanban, SAFe), with an ability to be agnostic of methodology when assessing the most valuable way forward for clients.
  • Scrum Master, Product Owner and/or Agile Coach certification and experience highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in eCom logistics or related field highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and changing environments.
