Why are we looking?

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Security & Risk Analyst to join the Technology (Tech) team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the security and integrity of the firm. Working with the National IT Security and Risk manager, the Security & Risk Analyst will monitor and maintain the firms' security information and event monitoring systems, vulnerability management systems, firewalls, and other security infrastructure. 

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events raised by the firms security monitoring systems
• Monitor for identified vulnerabilities and assist in prioritising and escalation of remediation efforts
• Monitor intrusion prevention systems and review suspicious activity
• Assist in the development and review of security baselines, standards and procedures
• Be the first point of call and assist in the event of a suspected security incident
• Review and verify security related requests, such as suspicious e-mails and executables.
• Work with clients and vendors to conduct and complete security assessments

What are we looking for?

• High level of technical aptitude
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and level headed under pressure
• A willingness to solve critical issues promptly
• Bachelor degree in Cyber Security or Information Systems
• Network security experience (preferred)
• Security certification such as CISSP, SSCP, CISA, Security+ or CSX will be highly regarded
• Familiarity with ISO27001:2013, ASD ISM, CIS Critical Controls, or NIST CSF will be viewed as an advantage
