Your primary mission will be to successfully plan, manage and deliver a variety of internal IT, Financial and commercial projects that will help take the business to its next level. You will be able to make your mark utilising your demonstrated experience in establishing this role within the business. The future potential for this role is open.

Key responsibilities involve:

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop and manage Project plans, budgets and resource schedules.
  • Perform project feasibility and cost analysis
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Partner with project stakeholders to ensure the success of the project
  • Actively participate in the selection of vendors/third party resources and maintain relationship
  • Develop and document full-scale project plans and associated schedules and communications for each project
  • Establish and monitor project costs
  • Manage and measure project and performance using appropriate systems and tools

Your Background

While the secret to your success lies in your exceptional and proven ability to take projects from original concept and successfully managing the multiple moving project parts simultaneously, you will also need:

  • 5+ years direct work experience in a finance project management capacity within the IT/Software space, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • A track record of effectively managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, with practical (not hypothetical) knowledge of project methodology and approach
  • Strong experience managing and selecting delivery vendors
  • Proven success in managing change
  • In-depth experience in the establishment of structures to ensure effective governance and risk mitigation/conflict resolution
  • Bachelors' Degree in Business, Commerce or Information Technology
  • Project management certifications are highly desirable
  • Solid working knowledge of ERP and business system applications, integration and related technologies.
