Based in Homebush, we are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician, with drive, passion and commitment to excellence. Your focus will be to add value to the organisation.

DUTIES

Including but not limited to:

  • Provide end-user support as required.
  • Provide telephone support for all users.
  • Configure and install computers and peripherals on the network.
  • Diagnose and fix software and hardware problems.
  • Liaise with vendors to fix hardware & software problems.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records of activities.
  • Documentation network devices and their movement.
  • Protect company’s networked devices and data.
  • Strict confidentiality of the department, company’s operations and infrastructure and business data is to be adhered to at all times. No information is to be passed on (either internal or external), without approval from the department manager.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous IT experience in an end-user support role essential.
  • PC installation experience essential.
  • Understand various Windows operating systems.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively with users.
  • Team player, self-reliant with the ability to work independently.
  • Microsoft MCP, Cisco CCNA, essential.
  • ITIL, PMP certifications, an advantage.
  • Experience in SCCM, Intune, and/or Office 365 desired.
