Vendor Relationship Manager

The Role:

The purpose of this role is to manage and grow commercial relationships with the TDL provider portfolio to ensure we maximise the value and opportunities of Suncorp’s investment in key products and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support TDL Domains to manage external vendor relations & performance.
  • Implement and manage vendor governance framework and supplier review processes.
  • Coordinate TDL Domain partner and supplier pipeline and planning.
  • Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure TDL wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished.
  • Track supplier performance, service levels, metrics, and performance incentive pool
  • Work with TDL Domains to resolve supplier performance and governance issues & coordinate development and tracking of improvement plans, if required.
  • Identify and implement continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendor management.
  • Participate to formulate workflow processes, methods and policies for applying vendors.
  • Ensure to collaborate with TDL areas to assure Strategic Vendors/Partners are effectively manage plus contracts are completely leveraged.
  • Monitor contractual agreements for TDL Domain vendors & provide visibility of the pipeline.

Skills & Experience :

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methods and change management are essential.
  • Commercial Acumen: Applying knowledge of internal and external business environments to consider the bottom-line impact of alternative solutions; maximising benefits whilst balancing risks.
  • Manages stakeholder’s expectations of deliverables, seeks ongoing feedback and exceeds expectations where possible.
  • Strong customer delivery: skilled ability to ensure the agile delivery of the business change.
  • Skilled ability to handle complexity and uncertainty.
