Our client is a multinational Systems integrator, and we require a highly motivated individual for a dual role, encompassing Systems Administration and Networking. 

There is extensive training as part of the role, and we only require at least two years commercial experience.

This is a permanent position and will require the Engineer to backfill annual leave in remote Western Australia, for up to 20 weeks per year. There is no set schedule to the FIFO component, but each shift will be two weeks at a time. The work type is project based. 

Skills & Experience Required
  • 2+ years experience in a commercial IT environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
  • Strong Customer Facing skills and presentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • TCP/IP Networking (eg routers and switches)
  • Wifi
  • Fibre optic, Ethernet cabling experience
  • Server Administration (Windows/Linux)
  • GPON
  • Virtualisation eg VMWare
  • Unified Communications
  • Free to air TV & Foxtel
  • Coax/RF cabling
  • Satellite comms
