Our Client:
My client is a global business who derives its revenue from a range of activities. They have a national presence and are rolling out new and exciting products on a regular basis.
The Role:
Responsibilites would include:
Analysis of financial data and forecasting of results to ensure planning
- Identify profit improvement opportunities and provide insights through profit modelling and analysis
- Coordinate and track progress of projects to ensure that milestones and performance indicators are met
- Analyse customer behaviours and trends relating specifically to overall profitability
- Working with Pricing Managers to develop Pricing and profit improvement recommendations
- Efficient analysis of data for both ad-hoc analysis & reporting purposes
- Collaborate with and support key stakeholders across the enterprise on projects
- Provide training and development to Pricing team members as required
The Successful Applicant/Candidates:
- Minimum of 5 years business/commercial experience
- Tertiary Qualification in a quantitative discipline - statistics, mathematics, research, information technology, engineering, etc
- Highly developed ability and experience in data modelling combined with an outstanding ability to apply technical knowledge to business requirements
- Advanced expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced SQL programming skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS SQL
- Experience in working with large/complex datasets
- Excellent presentation and communication skills presenting complex information to a variety of stakeholders
