My Client is currently searching for a tech savvy Level 2 Support Engineer for a long-term contract in Karratha. If you are someone who is willing to relocate, willing to commit to a long- term contract and someone who prides themselves on delivering excellent customer, you will find the below role a rewarding challenge with excellent scope to progress!
Working 50% on BAU and 50% project work, for an IT Consultancy, you will provide Level 2 Support across clients’ full IT Infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Being a trusted contact for end users on client site
- Troubleshooting end user technical issues
- Ticket logging systems, problem solving and escalating, when necessary
- Providing telephone and onsite support
- Supporting desktop, laptop, server, virtualisation, cloud, hardware and mobile technology
- Supporting Microsoft Technologies:
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Microsoft Servers
- Office 365
- Supporting additional technologies:
- Citrix Network – routing/switching
- VMWare
- Hyper-V
- SAN’s Software support
To be suitable for the role you MUST:
- Willing to relocate to Karratha, WA
- Commit to long-term contract
- Be passionate about excellent end user experience
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Have previous experience in a Level 1-2 Support role
- Have proven capability in inspiring confidence in clients and end users at all levels (including exec)
- Demonstrate a strong technical capability
- Have previous experience in supporting Microsoft, Virtualisation, Storage and Network technologies
