Job Specification
Working with the Digital Team you will:

• Define the solution architecture and execution roadmap for technology, security, network, end computing devices, social media, website, portal and data management.
• Design, develop and implement a business wide strategic and operational approach to data management, modelling, and consumption by internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Digital Team for diverse projects, supporting the architecture, design, implementation, user interface and solution review
• Design and develop security best practices for all technical solutions.
• Provide knowledge and skills enhancement training sessions for internal personnel across all offices
• Provide industry leading solutions that clearly articulate and explain the proposed approach
• Participate in agile development processes
• Work seamlessly across the broader business operational personnel, providing leadership on technology related issues

Skills/ Qualifications 

• An experienced professional with 6+ years in the IT Support/management sector, with tertiary qualifications in a relevant technology discipline.
• You will bring extensive experience of team management techniques, stakeholder support and team benchmarking to ensure correct design and development of IT systems.
• The core technologies to be utilised are likely to include (but are not limited to):
  • Microsoft Windows family (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016 etc.)
  • Windows on-premise domain management (including DNS, AD, Group Policy Management etc.)
  • Identity management software, (including Okta etc.)
  • Cloud-hosted Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint
  • Databases technologies (including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle & Postgres)
  • Reporting and analytics tools (including Qlik)
  • Cloud-based host services (including Azure, AWS etc.)
  • Finance & accounting systems (including SAGE)
  • SSO such as Okta
  • Awareness of SOC 1 & 2 ISO certifications
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as virtual reality, machine learning, drone programming, augmented realities, will differentiate you from other applicants.
• Evidenced exposure to Agile Methodologies and Waterfall Methodologies

Other skills and competencies: 

• An experienced professional, with tertiary qualifications in a relevant technology discipline.
• Significant experience (8 yrs +) as a Solutions Architect in cross functional teams
• Extensive working knowledge of cloud solutions including IaaS, SaaS, PaaS.
• Extensive working knowledge of infrastructure, networking, security standards, database, application development, digital and mobile solutions, integrations such as APIs
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as virtual reality, machine learning, drone programming, augmented realities, will differentiate you from other applicants.
• Evidenced exposure to Agile Methodologies and Waterfall Methodologies
• Competent in developing robust IT Architecture frameworks underpinning industry leading IT management approaches
• Evidenced experience in managing information within a multi-party Solution Architecture, design and solution delivery
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong industry and service provider connections are highly regarded
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
