Based in our Melbourne office, this role is responsible for providing amazing customer service whilst supporting and maintaining our customers running Genesys Contact Centre solutions; from general user help through to troubleshooting complex technical issues.

As an Application Support Consultant you will:

  • Provide a superior level of technical support with a positive and confident approach via telephone, email and remote screen sharing
  • Assist with the Senior Engineers to remotely perform software upgrades and patching as required
  • Work on all customer enquiries in Zendesk following ITIL aligned incident, problem, request and change management processes
  • Troubleshoot high level technical issues across multiple systems, from inception to completion
  • Share knowledge with colleagues, make changes to existing procedures and documentation
  • Follow escalation procedures, liaise effectively with Senior Engineers, Account Manager and Customer representatives
  • Proactively ask questions and seek assistance when needed, active communication with the team is essential

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 1 years’ experience in a customer focused, technical support role preferably working in the application support space
  • Must have sufficient technical knowledge in any contact centre software or unified communications and telephony solutions
