Well recognised National brand spearheaded by Global Private Equity that has just undergone a full re-brand is ready to hire a MS Business Intelligence Developer to their Pricing Analytics team based in Sydney.Reporting to the Pricing Manager this role will see you working on numerous development projects being driven by the pricing team relating to maximising revenue and profit across various product lines and distribution channels throughout the Australian Business.
Projects are run through an Agile project methodology and you would be involved in the entire project lifecycle including requirements gathering, developing, testing and demonstration to the business. Your role would encompass developing and maintaining ETL packages, databases, and SQL servers. You would work closely with stakeholders to ensure all process development has been investigated, mapped and designed correctly.
Critical to securing this role is your experience in Microsoft BI Stack 2012-2017 (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Analytics and Modelling with SSAS (DAX and Tabular as well as MDX). Skilled in Power BI Desktop and PowerPivot. Visualisation of analysis through Power BI. Advanced knowledge of T-SQL including performance tuning and database optimisation Extraction, Transformation and Loading (SSIS). The ability to debug, monitor and troubleshoot database issues including SSIS and SSAS related issues is paramount. A Knowledge of older technologies such as Access and VBA in Excel to automate a process or move the process to a more systemised process either using Web Applications or automation within SQL Server would be advantageous. .NET and Javascript also preferred.
