What you’ll be doing

As a Content Specialist at Envato you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring that Envato has an industry leading content offering across all of our products.

You will be responsible for providing industry and domain expertise throughout the business, and designing and maintaining cost effective systems, policies and processes that allow us to maintain content quality, including in particular Author Quality Management. You’ll work closely with many teams in the business to roll out quality initiatives and ensure that Envato Authors have the information and support they need to produce amazing content for Envato’s products. 

What we’re looking for

Required

• 3+ years of experience in the following languages:
  • Javascript
  • PHP
  • Swift/Obj C
  • Java
  • Application Black Box testing

Sound knowledge of the following is desirable; SQL, CSS, HTML,.NET

• Ability to research and analyse competitor marketplaces and industry trends, and effectively engage with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations
• Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering projects from end to end
• Strong Communication Skills - Ability to present a clear, logical and persuasive message. Capable in both written and verbal expression
• Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong and proven planning & organisational skills
• Strong ability to make informed decisions, driven from data and stakeholder insights

Desirable

• Experience designing and developing processes
• Experience creating and maintaining process documentation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Deep understanding of the importance of balancing quality and efficiency
• Strong ability to work independently and take initiative
• Basic knowledge of copyright law/Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and how it relates to different content types
• Familiarity with Envato’s marketplaces and an understanding of its customers (authors and buyers)
• Understanding of Envato’s authoring and review process
