Seeking the expertise of a Technical Business Analyst for an initial 3-6 month contract position based in Sydney. New technology implementation experience with a focus on transitioning from proof of concept to implementation is essential for this pivotal project role.

The main responsibilities for this role will be broad and not limited to:

• Being the liaison between the business units, technology teams, and support teams.
• Elicit requirements using techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
• Analyse existing processes and systems and determine if changes can be accommodated through process change ensuring agreed process is followed when new systems/changes are requested and supported processes are considered for efficient workarounds.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to reconcile conflicts, translate high-level information into formative detail, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with the business to analyse information needs and functional requirements to deliver the artefacts as needed: (Business Requirements Document, Functional Requirements, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs, Business Process diagrams).
• Lead the creation of testing artefacts and support test execution cycles.
• Lead the creation of project and process documentation.
• Support the Project Manager in the production of a compelling business case for the new technology implementation, quantifying the needs/benefits of the project and determining the most suitable operating model for the business.
