The Role

Due to the exciting evolution of our Digital Strategy, we have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Developer to join our Systems Applications team as Senior Digital Developer. Reporting to the Team Leader - Digital Development, you will be responsible for the support of QSuper’s Digital technology, including our Sitecore solutions.

As Senior Digital Developer, you will build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and will participate in planning sessions relating to QSuper’s Digital Strategy. You will have the ability to analyse and solve problems and to respond to incidents quickly and effectively. The ideal candidate will also have experience with developing and maintaining automated test suites for Digital Applications.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

The ideal Senior Digital Developer will have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent (highly desirable);
Demonstrated experience operating within a digital environment supporting web content management systems;
Proven experience in both the development and operational support of Sitecore using Sitecore 7.x and 8.x. Sitecore certification highly desirable;
Demonstrated experience in C#, .NET, CSS, SQL, Javascript, XML, and Web Services (highly desirable);
Demonstrated experience with Atlassian JIRA and confluence;
Knowledge of Solution Delivery Lifecycle methodologies, Release Coordination and quality assurance processes. Experience working with Agile methodologies is also highly desirable;
Experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly Superannuation is an advantage;
ITIL Foundation certificate (highly desirable).
