Seven Digital teams, based at Media City in Eveleigh have an outstanding opportunity for a customer support agent to work with cutting-edge Cloud services and online video delivery products.
You will be responsible for providing end-user support services across large-scale Digital Products that run 24x7. This includes being hands-on triaging & responding to any platform issues and effectively communicating with key stakeholders.
You will also leverage your skills & passion for awesome products to provide technical recommendations for continuous improvement, team processes and tools as well as supporting our expanding digital product offerings in mobile, video, e-commerce and social.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responding to end-user support queries.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of customer support processes by providing feedback and recommendations from your experience in the role
- Regular testing of products and services to complement automated testing solutions ensuring issues are identified and triaged as efficiently as possible
- Daily and weekly reporting on user issues and concerns
- Minimise risk – adopt good housekeeping practices, identify system shortfalls and in the longer term, finding solutions to any improvements required.
- Usage of appropriate monitoring, support and escalation procedures
- Ensure support workflows effectively interface with internal and external teams by logging, tracking, managing, escalating and reporting on issues
- Leveraging the experience and expertise of technical support staff to solve complex issues.
Essential Experience:
- Continuous learner - up-to-date knowledge of latest Software and Hardware technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communications at all levels.
- Flexibility in work times and availability for on-call.
- IT, Engineering or other relevant TAFE /Tertiary Qualifications – including current student looking for part-time work.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team, adhere to tight deadlines, work well under pressure
Experience in the media industry, in particular with Video services and Content Delivery or experience with Operational monitoring tools such as Newrelic, Kibana, Elastic Search, CloudWatch would be highly desirable.
