We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Project Manager to join our Information Technology team in Adelaide on a fixed term basis for 2 years.

Reporting to the Project Management Lead you will play a key role in managing a complex, multi-stream project to consolidate APA Group’s GIS platforms and processes, ensuring that the project is aligned in design and delivery to the GIS strategic plan.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Leading and guiding the project team to ensure the project is delivered to scope, on schedule and within budget and meeting the stakeholder requirements.
• Overseeing the successful delivery of the project, and owning the project scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality constraints.
• Effectively identifying, engaging, influencing and negotiating with key project stakeholders, internal and external including vendors, to achieve the project outcomes and benefits.  
• Working closely with the project owner and sponsors to ensure project delivers business requirements.
• End to end project management, including business case development, project planning, resource management, monitoring project actuals, forecasts, and benefits against budget allocation, as well as risk management. 
• Delivering project against industry best practice, current company systems and processes to ensure project change management is appropriately tailored.

To excel in this position you will have the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

• Extensive background in enterprise project management and delivery, with recent proven experience as a Senior Project Manager.
• Experience delivering major projects, including managing vendor product, and/or GIS System or similar, implementations.
• Demonstrated experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including executive level management, project sponsors, project delivery team and major vendors – at a strategic and technical level.
• Experience in managing large project teams in dynamic and ever changing environments.
• Experience managing large, complex, multi-year projects, circa $10-50mil
• An adaptable, mentor-focussed, and results orientated attitude
