About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic ICT Infrastructure Team Leader to join our IT department on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a wonderful team and utilise your expertise, where they will be appreciated and rewarded.

This role will see you lead the infrastructure team of 2, to manage all facets of the ICT Infrastructure services.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Perform and oversee daily system administration, maintenance and capacity planning across Eric’s technology stack.
• Management and prioritisation of all infrastructure service tickets/requests within agreed SLAs
• Procurement of ICT Hardware, software and peripherals.
• Vendor & supplier management, keeping them their toes with regular reviews & comparisons
• Establish and maintain hardware, software, licenses asset register, ensuring proactive review and renewal processes
• Establish and maintain a highly-secured IT environment in line with regulatory requirements. Incorporating industry best practice, complemented by the introduction of an ongoing user education program.
• Responsible for championing and enforcing effective change management processes for all changes to infrastructure services, supported by relevant documentation and proactive communication
• Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis for management
• Monitor Eric’s systems and collaborate with the wider IT team to ensure optimum system performance and availability, identifying & incorporating opportunities for optimisation.
• Out of hours support whilst infrequent is required and expected

About You

• 10+ years’ experience
• Proactive, flexible, strategic, hands on approach
• Contemporary working and management style with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Advanced analytical, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
•  Experience leading a team of similar size and capability
• Experience in initiating and successfully delivering Infrastructure projects
• Comfortably working autonomously in a changing environment
•  Strategy, planning, coordination and multi-tasking within a pressurised environment.
• Extensive knowledge across various technology stacks, supported by relevant experience and/or qualifications

• Servers & Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012)
• Virtualisation (Host management, VMWare)
• MS Technologies (Windows 10, AD, Exchange, O365)
• Telephony (Avaya)
• Printing services
• Backups (Veeam)
• Technical documentation writing
• Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity
