About The OpportunityThey are now looking for a Level 2 Engineer to join their company in Sydney CBD, with the potential to earn $75,000 per annum | Negotiable Salary $70,000 + $75,000 + Superannuation.
You will be working client side to provide IT support and a variety of tasks for approximately 120-140 users.
Reporting directly to the Service Desk Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with the client on a daily basis and respond to phone calls, emails and walk-ups for IT support
- Install and configure Windows workstations and Windows servers
- Perform preventative maintenance on client networks
- Learn new client applications in order to support them
- Write documentation of systems and processes where necessary
- Must have 12 + months experience in a similar position
- Experience in Facet; Iress and Bloomberg trading software is desirable
- Experience with Windows Operating System and TCP/IP
- Experience with concepts such as protocols, firewalls, user accounts, file and print sharing
- Experience in a Corporate, Banking and Finance industry preferable
- Experience with Window servers, Apple products, Web site hosting and CISCO IOS
