About the role

Thermaltake's Melbourne office is expanding! Therefore, as part of our business growth, new project opportunities and new business requirements, we are looking for a TALENTED, PASSIONATE, FULL HANDS-ON mid-senior PHP Full Stack developer with solid commercial web development experience (minimum 3 years).

We're looking for someone to join our Melbourne office and support our ongoing website development as well expand our online portal and warehouse systems. The role primarily involves working on LAMP stack environments, with medium to advanced knowledge on OO PHP, MVC frameworks, as well as advanced frontend technology like jQuery and Bootstrap. We're looking for someone who is keen to tackle new projects as they come up and help solve business problems with technical skills. 

The role will be offered on a 6 months contract basis with high possibility of longer extensions based on KPIs review. Majority of the work will be on extending the function of our web portal current built on Opencart. 

Skills and experience:

• Extensive OO PHP experience in a LAMP stack
• Strong MySQL Database skills
• Strong exposure to PHP MVC frameworks
• Strong exposure to jQuery and Bootstrap framework
• Strong knowledge in web security
• Strong knowledge in source code management
• API Integration experience
• Necessary communication and documentation skills
• Attention to Detail
• Problem Solver and analytical thinking mindset

Nice to Haves:

• cPanel experience
• Unit testing, functional testing, and BDD testing skills
• Experience with ecommerce Platforms and warehouse and transportation managements systems
