We are currently looking for a SAP Project Manager for an initial 12 month contract (with chance of extension) for a large government department based in Brisbane CBD. 

Responsibilities: 

• Successful delivery of the specified program of work for the project.
• Establish working relationships with the relevant customer managers, vendors and the key business managers and the business project managers.
• Co-ordinate vendor, department, and technical resources required for the projects.
• Ensure that suitable governance is in place for the project.
• Identify and manage any project level risks and issues, and escalate and Program-level risks and issues.
• Ensure that suitable schedules are in place and maintained for the project.
• Ensure that all documentation is loaded into Project Insite.
• Oversee all activities for the delivery of this project and regularly update the Program Manager, Project Owner, Project Sponsor and members of the PCG.

The Project Manager will:
 

• Lead the project activity in accordance with the ICT PM2 Framework and deliver specific artefacts on behalf of the identified stakeholders.
• Organise and plan the solution delivery approach and obtain endorsement of the approach and the applicable solution and the design artefacts.
• Develop and review the artefacts related to the procurement of the vendor services.
• Engage with the vendors to ensure a robust Mobility solution is implemented across stakeholder groups.
• Engage all stakeholders and communicate the agreed delivery approach and the planned execution plan.

 Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Project Manager role.
• Broad skills and exposure across ICT technologies used in the ICT stack.
• High level written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences, including negotiation and mediation skills for conveying complex ICT architectures.
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing technical deliverables from an external supplier.
• Ability to work within a team of various disciplines.
• Experience in reviewing project technology deliverables, ensuring Architecture compliance.
• Leadership, guidance and direction as part of the project management process, of teams consisting of customers, Service Delivery Manager, project managers, operational staff and designers, to ensure the delivery of the Project solution.
• Demonstrated project management experience in SAP for large and complex organisations.
