The Role & Opportunity:
Our Federal Government client situated in Moonee Ponds is looking for an IT Organisational Change Manager to works alongside specific projects teams to ensure staff are effectively prepared to transition to the change state. This change specialist will have a strong focus on tactical/execution and will:
 
  • Platform from the high level change impact assessment to provide detailed impacts on staff (numbers and roles), processes, work practices and technology change.
  • Develop and help delivery of the communication strategy and plan.
  • Manage delivery of change, communication requirements as per the approved plans.
  • monitor the effectiveness of scheduled change activities
  • Support with stakeholder engagement, with focus on establishing and managing a change web/champion network.
  • Undertake an ongoing review of business readiness.
  • Provide relevant governance bodies with project level reporting.
  • Provide support for project-level sponsorship and communication.

  • Extensive experience in delivering large scale change in a large organisation.
  • Recognise and resolve problems using professional knowledge and experience, identify and develop ideas, devise and/or analyse alternative courses of action and their implications on the work area and advance new approaches.
  • Contribute own expertise to the development and continuous improvement of the agency’s approach, framework and methods utilised in the planning and delivery of change or in the creation of project and program artefacts.
  • Guide and mentor/coach less experienced employees working on projects and programs; develop and deliver facilitated workshops and education services in area of expertise; tailor standard approaches and templates.
  • Provide high level advice on established, operational professional and/or administrative activities, procedures, practices and project and program management methodologies.
  • Continue to develop knowledge and expertise in relation to professional and technical skills and take responsibility for continuous improvement to methods, tools and processes.
