MindAtlas are seeking a mid-level - senior PHP Developer for its head office in Armadale (Melbourne).

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Interpret business requirements and functional specifications.
• Develop application features to written technical specifications.
• Maintain and test developed code.
• Resolve application issues.
• Solve complex problems, including platform performance and architectural challenges.
• Work collaboratively with team members.
• Estimate development time.
• Provide input into and share ownership of the application roadmap.
• Any other actions deemed reasonable and necessary by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-5 years’ experience developing with PHP and using MVC frameworks.
• Experience in best practices for code structure, testing and performance.
• Experience working with integrating third-party platforms through APIs or flat files.
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
• Experience working with Relational Databases (queries, design and normalisation).
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
• Experience in cloud server management and maintenance highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
• Positive, can-do attitude is essential.
