Senior Automation Test Engineer (Banking)

My client is a multinational banking and financial services company with development teams across the globe. Their Sydney operation is requiring a strong automation test engineer to join a pre-extisting scrum team and perform automation and exploratory tests.

You will be joining a high performing agile team to delivery solutions across web and mobile banking applications.

The candidate will need to have strong communication skills as this role will have some customer facing elements.


Required Skills:

• Experience with Selenium / Protractor
• Java and/or JavaScript
• Experience writing Gherkin BDD test scenarios
• Web and API automation
• Strong Agile understanding
• Strong communication skills and ability to deal with stakeholders including BAs, Developers, Customers and Senior Management
• Web Services (Rest, SOAP)
• CI tools, Jenkins
• Experience working on banking systems/in banking environments

Beneficial Skills:

• Experience in a Developer role (OOP programming)
• Mobile automation experience
