We are seeking to engage several Developers who has several years of experience in Java Script technologies to work on a long term project within our esteemed Federal Government client site!

You MUST be an Australian Citizen to be considered for these positions! It will be a bonus, if you have an active Baseline Security clearance!

Core Competencies:

• Several years of experience working with JavaScript technologies
• Extensive technical expertise as a senior developer working in production environments and projects with waterfall or agile methodologies
• Experience with designing, developing, supporting and maintaining capabilities in large complex ICT environments
• Demonstrated ability to quickly gain knowledge of other open source and COTS products/technologies
• Demonstrated analysis, design and development skills
• Ability to work as a member of a development team and with business areas
• Good understanding of SDLC, release management, ICT change management and software development processes
• Proven experience with prioritising, scheduling, monitoring and reporting
• Excellent communication and decision making skills

Desirable Competencies:

• Experience working in a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment
• Experience with other technologies and tools such as: Web Services (SOAP-based and RESTful); React, Angular or Vue.js; Typescript; MobX/Redux/Flux or any Javascript MVC frameworks (such as Backbone.js); Webpack; js (Express or Restify); DBMS experience including Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
• Knowledge of the accessibility, usability standards including WCAG, WAI-ARIA and Semantic HTML

Deliverables but NOT limited to:

• Designing and developing complex technical JavaScript solutions that meet business needs, design specifications, industry standards, agreed service levels, procedures and corporate objectives such as enterprise architecture artefacts
• Designing, developing, unit testing, implementing and maintaining systems and services
• Troubleshooting and remediating system incidents, problems and defects
• Providing technical advice and support to testers, business analysts, enterprise architects and other various stakeholders
• Performing quality assurance checks of design, code and technical dependencies across multiple development components and streams
• Reviewing the solution architecture and technical designs of existing, new, and upcoming applications
• Providing delivery managers with status updates and development effort estimates for changes
• Developing new and updating existing system design documentation
• Building and managing relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders and service providers
