As a specialist in Monitoring Automation Development, you will be part of a large program of work, encompassing significant transformation, leveraging your excellent problem solving acumen, with a willingness to drive automation. You will be an experienced developer with a track record of driving automation with strong technical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver in a challenging and dynamic environment.
To succeed in the role, you will be able to;
- develop custom applications on the Splunk platform to meet Monitoring Automation requirements
- develop integrations for a variety of disparate workflow, alerting and monitoring tools to enable end to end automation including auto scaling & auto healing
- be a key contributor in the installation, configuration and customisation of products which aim to reduce manual effort across the operational landscape
- educate other developers within team in best practices of on boarding to Macquarie’s AWS environment
- be able to develop in a wide variety of programming languages, including having exposure to emerging technologies.
