Scrum Master

Hansen Technologies is a global CIS/BSS provider servicing the Utilities, Pay TV and Telecommunications industries. We have 31 global offices and deliver billing solutions to customers in 80 countries. As a growing company we are looking for highly motivated individuals who can grow with the company’s products and services while contributing to our wider goal of acting as a valued customer partner.

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join the Melbourne Head Office Team in Doncaster. The Scrum Master will focus on facilitating Agile projects consisting of cross functional teams as we develop a new, best in class Customer Care and Billing System for the convergent Pay Media and Utilities Market.

Responsibilities include:

· Create and foster a vibrant, high performing, collaborative team culture

· Facilitate and lead adoption of Agile within the team and drive continuous improvement practices

· Facilitate and drive team rituals, including inception and planning workshops

· Work collaboratively with PO and Scrum Team to develop the Delivery Roadmap and Product Release strategy and continually re-plan throughout the project as needed.

· Help project teams to meet daily and achieve sprint goals, including assisting the team in removing and escalate blockers as needed

· Act as the Scrum Master across multiple scrum teams

· Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are progressing

· Relevant and timely communications and reporting to Stakeholders

· Problem solving for specific scenarios

· Facilitate retrospectives, assisting the team to identify areas for improvement, and drive a continuous improvement mindset

· Leverage learning’s and processes established within existing Hansen teams

· Facilitating the team in building a high-performing team culture

· Attitude of empowerment - Must be able to lead a team to self-organization.

· Attitude of transparency - Must have the desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust.

Experience and Technical Skills Required

· Degree in Computer Science or a software related field

· 2 or more years’ experience as a Scrum Master in a software development organization

· 2 or more years’ experience with multi-projects

· Certified Scrum Master (required)

· Lean implementation experience (desired)

· Agile Methodology implementation experience (desired)

· Good Technical background (desired)

· Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices.
