As a key member of the senior management team the Operations Manager will lead an experienced team towards the achievement of key organisational outcomes. Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will have a competent understanding of what makes a sales driven business in the technology space tick. Our client is experiencing strategic and organic growth and prides themselves on being agile in an always competitive tech industry. 

As an experienced Operations Manager you will head up the technical and service department of the business to ensure it is efficient and effective. We expect you would have stepped through the ranks within a growing business and are now looking for your next management position to showcase your skills.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Overall management responsibility for the technical and service department and related strategic activities and processes.
• Leading the technical and service team to achieve their productivity and customer service goals along with driving a positive team culture.
• Reviewing and tweaking business operations to minimise risk and deliver profitable outcomes in line with the business’s strategic plan.
• Embedding a continuous improvement program in conjunction with championing lean operational principles at all levels.
• Ensuring safe work practices and legislative compliance is being achieved in regard to work health & safety.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Have a natural leadership style, ensuring our people will respect your approach to both operational matters and business decisions.
• Have 5+ years’ experience managing a customer focused business or department
• Enjoy leading and implementing change and embracing technology
• Have solid commercial management exposure ideally underpinned by formal qualifications.
• Have refined people management skills to lead and develop a diligent and loyal team.
• Have strong analytical ability to investigate opportunities for business improvement
• Have budgeting and forecasting skills particularly with regard to industry trends.
• Have the ability to work under pressure and resilience to juggle the competing priorities of the position.
• Have worked as part of a professional leadership team within a business

• Be analytical and thorough about the details while maintaining a big picture approach.
