An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified IT professional to join our team at the City of Boroondara on a full time basis.

 

Your role with us             

Reporting to the Application Services Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical support for council’s applications, while satisfying internal and external end user requirements.

  • Maintain various application and database environments, provide second and third level support for Council’s corporate systems, identifying issues, putting actions in place to rectify them and following through with a solution.
  • Manage all aspects of application performance, optimisation and maintenance. 
  • Maintain thorough system and process support documentation.
  • Support system integrations and related data exchange processes.

 

About you

  • You will have several years’ experience in directly supporting and maintaining applications and services in a complex environment.
  • Ideally you will have experience in TechnologyOne P&R and/or application development skills with experience across the IT stack.
  • Good communication skills with experience in customer and vendor management.
  • Along with a strong customer focus you will need to demonstrate your strong skills in problem solving, documentation writing, ITIL principles, project management experience.
  • To be successful in this role you will bring qualifications in IT and/or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
