Based in Melbourne, an exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Partner Sales Manager to join the newly formed Citrix Team, reporting to the Senior Business Manager. Working within an assigned territory, the Partner Sales Manager will maximize partner net new opportunity and revenue generation by representing Dicker Data & Citrix in all activities associated with partner recruitment, partner business development, partner sales and partner support with the primary responsibility to help grow partner revenues. They will act as an extended member of the Citrix sales and partner teams playing an integral role in their go-to-market and business development. The individual will support both unmanaged partners to drive revenue for Citrix as well as manage, develop and grow an identified set of high-potential partners to develop and strengthen relationships, drive new business and commitment to Citrix products & solutions.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years prior Territory Sales or Channel Sales experience in a high-tech field in a direct or indirect sales environment with a demonstrated track record of success in Channel Sales as well as driving customer and partner adoption of technology.
  • Strong desire and passion to bring new customers & partners to Citrix Software Defined Workplace
  • Highly driven individual with execution focus and a strong sense of urgency, resilient and willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic, self-motivated and resourceful
  • High level of confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels

 

What you will do in this role:

  • Be responsible for developing new or existing partners and strengthening relationships to drive commitment to Citrix products and solutions.
  • Manage a territory and all activities associated with partner recruitment, development, pipeline management, portfolio planning, sales coaching, and forecasting.
  • Be a primary relationship owner with partners, set activity targets including revenue and competency; and maintain relationships with sales, marketing and senior business contacts
  • Be accountable for developing and achieving quota within assigned partner territory
  • Develop a territory plan for managing partner relationships across unmanaged and high potential partner to drive pipeline and exceed net new partner sourced quotas
  • Conduct regular pipeline management, portfolio planning, sales coaching, forecasting and QBRs where relevant
  • Organise partnership business planning and execution (including marketing, sales skills, development, product, services and customer territory planning) to achieve set objectives
  • Increase partners Citrix sales & delivery workforce through sales, presales & technical certifications
  • Orchestrate resources to support partner and help strengthen relationships with Dicker Data and Citrix including ensuring all Citrix sales teams and system engineers are engaged and providing appropriate deal support; organising training; ensuring participation in marketing and partner strategy programs
  • Drive sales execution through partner by enabling and influencing.
  • Execute “Solution Selling” of applications, desktops and provisioning of both in the Service Provider Market and end Users
  • Drive development of partner services offerings to support Citrix & increase profitability
