Due to continued growth of our managed services division, Gunners Office Equipment is looking for top talent in the field of I.T service and support.
The Role
- To provide level one and two technical support to all clients as per agreed processes, procedures and service level standards.
- Providing remote and onsite customer support including fault diagnosis for all software and hardware faults on laptops, desktop computers, printers, servers and associated peripherals.
- The ability to build, configure and provide support for all Windows server and desktop environments.
- The ability to complete on-site support request including the installation and configuration of servers, desktops and peripherals with minimal supervision or guidance.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working for a managed services provider or a small to medium IT company providing support services to a broad and diverse range of clients.
- Display a strong level of logical and common sense thought processing in your workflow.
- Experience providing support for Microsoft Desktop operating systems including Windows 7 and 8, 10 software platforms,
- Demonstrated ability in providing support within domain and workgroup environments
- Installing, configuring and providing support within Windows Server 2008 2012 and 2016 environments.
- Installing, configuring, supporting and managing user accounts within Active Directory environments.
- Installing, configuring, supporting and managing all aspects associated with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Office 365 environments.
- Understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere, ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V
- In depth knowledge and demonstrated trouble shooting skills on PC environments,
- Proven experience in providing general administration support for Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 and 2012.
- Understanding of networking and routing including LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies.
