Key Accountabilities:

Aid the Server Support team to ensure high Service Delivery.
  • Take principal responsibility for ensuring that client service obligations are met
  • Provide second and third level Messaging technical support to agreed service levels across the collaboration platform (O365)
  • Become an escalation point for other Server Support team members
  • Provide input for required reports, such as capacity planning, management, key stakeholder incident reports
  • Provide high level assistance on all facets of very complex technical work amongst the team in relation to collaboration
  • Solve very complex technical/engineering problems using diverse research and development techniques where alternatives are not apparent
  • Apply enhanced technology knowledge of theory and practice to a wide variety of procedures and techniques
  • Apply and enforce ITSM tool, including Incident Management, including incident and problem analysis, systems performance and capacity monitoring together with maintenance of associated documentation.
  • Be a primary point of contact for suppliers and/or clients.
  • Keep up to date with trends and latest technologies in the IT and broadcasting industry.
  • Assist other teams within IT Support Services to meet emergent work priorities as required

Key Competencies/Qualifications/Experience:

Extensive experience supporting Messaging and Collaboration in a large corporate environment, including Exchange and Office 365.

High level problem solving, with the ability to analyse, diagnose and solve the most complex technical problems, in areas including (but not limited to) Windows server, including:
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2013
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • VMware virtualisation infrastructure (ESX, vSphere)
  • Mail filtering vendors (MimeCast)
  • MDM Management systems (Intune, Mobile Iron)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with a range of people.
