Principal Business Analyst required for one of our government clients, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) to work on their large GP Smart Referrals Project.
Your tasks and duties will include:
- Collaborating with Business Analysts, who have developed the ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ business processes, and Solution Architects who have determined the mix and configuration of the GP Smart Referrals solution to effectively imbed the required business changes.
- Understanding and interpreting Departmental and HHS policies, Service Plans and agreements with a view to ensuring alignment of proposed business process changes, seeking advice or proposing changes.
- Providing direct support to service and business unit managers with imbedding business process changes to effectively utilise deployed solutions and deliver positive outcomes for the SCHHS. This may include revision/definition of organisational roles and positions.
- Identifying and establish measurement frameworks to capture value metrics – both pre and post change implementation (system and business process changes).
- Preparing submissions, investment concept briefs, briefing papers and business cases (or assist others in their preparation)
- Providing advice and guidance on best practice Portfolio, Program and Project management practices
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
- Proven ability in taking responsibility for business change, investigating business strategies, validating and justifying business needs, and preparing business cases and solution options using appropriate methodologies, techniques and tools.
- Proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication
skills for use in a complex project environment. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing).
- Demonstrated experience in developing and reviewing cost and resourcing estimates for ICT
projects and an understanding of ICT program and project management.
- Proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members.
