This role is to be responsible for coordinating the operations and maintenance of corporate and company projects IT infrastructure on the areas of networking and server architectures.
Additionally, the role is to solve incident tickets scalated by the service or petitions assigned directly by the ICT Manager, and will work with the management team to propose architectural solutions to achieve a reduction on the tickets or times associated with their resolution.
Key Responsibilities.
- Administering and maintaining a range of networks and systems.
- Monitor network and server (storage) Key Indicators.
- Manage maintenance of network devices and equipment at construction/remote locations.
- Lead and deliver complex projects - Delivering projects end to end from design through to implementation.
- Manage the network/server asset and configuration inventory.
- Prepare and manage the purchase of equipment budgets for new IT projects delivering infrastructure projects autonomously.
- Plan Network/Server operation and maintenance works with IT subontractor.
- Have a clear understanding of technical problems and their resolutions:
- Analyze L2 Ticket Resolutions of Network/Server specialized Level.
- High level support and troubleshooting of complex infrastructure Systems.
- Establish a pro-active attitude to reduce resolution times and propose actions to reduce the number of incidents.
- Use best practices, document regularly, follow company procedures and processes and work within the team to ensure long term customer satisfaction.
Experience/Qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years of administration on information systems; Active Directory, File Shares, Nerworking (routers and firewallls), SAN deployments, Hyper-V upgrades and deployments, and VMWare.
- Completed bachelor degree on information systems.
- Professional, friendly and courteous response.
- Intermediate-advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Cisco and/or Microsoft Certified.
- Good Knowledge and experience in Sophos and SonycWall Firewalls, and Synology SAN systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems to the root cause.
