FourQuarters are currently working with a global leader in their industry. With 50 offices globally and an ever increasing presence this business is looking to add to their technology team with a well versed engineer.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Team Lead you will be responsible for all IT systems and infrastructure Australia wide.
  
Due to the seniority of this role, your remit will include being the technical subject matter expert across a variety of technologies and also managing a variety of vendors.
  
Key responsibilities:

• Install, manage and monitor wintel, cloud and network infrastructure
• Ensure high availability, performance, connectivity and quick resolve of infrastructure related issues 
• Collaborating with other key members of the team (system & network engineers) on both BAU & Project work
• Projects – Large scale network upgrade in 2018/19
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and solve technical issues
• Document all changes to systems
• Vendor Management

Your Profile

This role would suit someone coming from a senior engineering position in an enterprise environment.
  
Ideally your skills will cover:

• AWS (Networking, IAAS, PAAS)
• Networking – Layer 2/3
• Generalist Microsoft OS applications/servers
• Managing a variety of vendors, being able to influence
