To continue our success we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our IT team as a Senior Field Services Engineer. This role would see you deliver high standard of customer service to IT customers and vendors in a professional manner ensuring every contact fosters a positive image of the IT team whilst complying to and enforcing IT policies and procedures.

You will be:

  • Leading investigations of Critical Incidents implementing workarounds as appropriate to minimise business impact and ensuring resolution within SLA
  • Managing Field Services tickets, prioritising incidents and requests based on urgency and impact, and allocating appropriately within the Field Services team or escalate to backline teams as required
  • Tracking progress of Field Services tickets and resolving roadblocks to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end user issues and requests in line with SLAs and quality standards
  • Maintaining health of the infrastructure systems by keeping upgrades and patches current and by troubleshooting and resolving issues with the associated tools
  • Coordinating projects with global IT teams and business stakeholders to define, develop, and deliver effective solutions ensuring timely and successful completion in compliance to project management processes
  • Managing and collaborating with third party suppliers where appropriate and ensuring that their performance and provision of services and quality is in line with our expectations and enables us to meet or exceed service levels

You will have:

  • 7 - 10 years of related IT business work experience in a large scale corporate environment
  • Relevant tertiary IT qualification (degree or similar)
  • ITIL Certifications
  • Certifications in a project management methodology i.e. PMP, PMBoK, Prince2
  • Experience working on multiple projects/programs in parallel
  • Excellent Written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relationship building skills with key stakeholders within IT and the business

In depth knowledge and experience in operating, administering and supporting the following:

  • Win7 & Win10, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012,
  • Active directory, DHCP and DNS
  • Microsoft SCCM, application packaging and SOE development
  • Microsoft Office 365 products
  • Cisco products including Network, Cisco Call Manager and Polycom Video Conferencing solutions
