We have a new long term contract role for a Front End Developer with UI design skills to create highly functional, visually rich interfaces, that are both usable and accessible across all common browsers and devices, ensuring a consistent experience for customers at every touchpoint, across multiple services/ products.
What your day will look like:
- Create highly functional, visually rich interfaces that are both usable and accessible across all common browsers and devices.
- Prepare low and high fidelity (including HTML & CSS) mock ups and prototypes of visual design concepts and system components.
- Drive the final appearance of the user interface by building the foundations of a consistent visual language and Design System.
What you'll need for success:
- JavaScript
- Rapid prototyping experience using CSS (including CSS3 - particularly media queries) and HTML (including HTML5)
- Experience designing for multiple browsers and devices complying with WCAG 2.0 AA
Highly Desirable
- Experience working with frameworks/libraries such as React.JS, SASS, LESS, Grunt, Node.JS etc
- Motion / animation experience with the ability to construct seamless interactions through functional modern effects, transitions and animations that add to the brand personality
Due to government security requirements, candidates must be Australian citizens with a baseline security clearance.
