The opportunity
We have an opportunity based in Chatswood for a Content Manager to play a key role in managing the development of content for the Divisional Management System (DMS), assuring that all online content, documentation and artefacts align with the approved DMS standards and provide support to the business in its development of and contribution to DMS content.

This role requires working with teams to ensure new content (both online and documents) is developed in line with the DMS Strategy, and will provide a development opportunity for a suitable candidate who has a background in the development or implementation of management systems (particularly outcomes-based management systems).


Responsibilities

  • Promote the adoption of the DMS across Infrastructure and Services Division, championing the management systems strategy and use of approved templates and guidelines among internal teams and external stakeholders  Develop and/or produce, in collaboration with the business, online content, document templates and guidelines which meet DMS content and design standards and the needs of the identified audiences 
  • Facilitate workshops and deliver training for content writers to develop DMS content  Monitor the quality of DMS content produced by other team members, Subject Matter Experts and technical specialists, assuring that all documentation and artefacts comply with approved DMS templates, guidelines and design standards  Advise the content owners/SMEs/authors on matters relating to the content of their documents and other publications, offering advice on contents, design and on further documentation opportunities, and conducting Content Creator training
  • Coordinate with other Management Systems owners (including but not limited to the Quality Management System, Environment Management Systems, Safety Management System and Asset Management System) to monitor and avoid duplication of content across the management systems 
  • Research, propose and develop continuous improvements to the DMS content and design 
  • Build trusting relationships and develop rapport with diverse stakeholders 
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written (preferably online) English language skills and tailor communications to suit different audiences and with attention to detail 
  • Support management system users to understand and to find system content i.e. perform role of SME 
  • Participate in reviews/consultation activities conducted by sources and other stakeholders 
  • Maintain management system core processes, including content rules and design guidelines

TfNSW Grade 9: $126,194 - $141,336 base + superannuation and leave loading
