PM-Partners is currently seeking aSeeking a certified and experienced Cisco Engineer for this long term daily rate contract in Perth  

To be considered for this position you will have experience and strengths in the following:  

Specific Technology Skills Required:
Strong technical hands on knowledge of Cisco Collaboration technologies, primarily Unified Communications, TelePresence, Webex solutions and endpoints. 
Skills and certifications in VOIP & Data network protocols such as SIP, QoS, TCP/IP, MPLS, Virtual LAN's, VLAN trunking 
Strong Cisco and 3rd party Unified Communications products and services fundamentals. 

Technical Knowledge and skills: 

• Commercial voice and video systems design knowledge. Understand how to break down large designs into sub-systems, connections between those subsystems. 
• Proven experience providing end-to-end analysis or operational flows across large systems. 
• Strong communication skills, able to convey to the customer the key benefits of the total (product/services) Cisco solution. 
• Manage process improvement and advice on scalability, performance, manageability, troubleshooting, provisioning, security, mission critical) 
• Strong troubleshooting skills in UC/Video solution components and endpoints 

Your day to day activities will be:

• Work as an entrenched member of Partner/Customer support team to support Collaboration solution architectures from core infrastructure through to user endpoints 
• Provide Plan and Design recommendations for design changes and design validations 
• Participate in extended team status calls and planning meetings. 
• Provide industry best practices to Customer/Partner regarding Cisco Collaboration technology. 
• Act as an escalation conduit to the technical collaboration business units. 
• Act as a leadengineerto work with your greater team support services. 
• General troubleshooting, customer consultancy care and stakeholder management
