What you'll be doing

The Business Analyst, reviews and analyses the organisations' business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements. This role will support processes associated with receiving, reviewing and actioning requests for new and changed functionality. There will be extensive interaction with clients, colleagues and other NSW Health agencies to achieve success.  

  • Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and/or patient administration systems, either as a clinical or administrative user and/or in a technical support role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills with previous experience engaging, collaborating and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation and presentations in a timely manner.
