Our client is currently undertaking a ground-breaking new Cybersecurity Transformation Program and are looking for an experienced Project Officer/PMO Lead to support the Program and Project Managers with day-to-day tasks such as Status Reporting, Risk & Issue Management, Scheduling and general administrative tasks such as booking meetings and follwoing up Purchase Orders.
This is an initial 6 month contract and will extend.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support in a pro- active and professional manner to the project team.
- Provide project management support in a pro- active and professional manner to the project team.
- Provide PMO capability support in a pro- active and professional manner to the project team (coordinate program schedules, status reports etc.)
- Provide project related finance support (budget forecasting / process invoicing)
The successful candidate will have:
- Certificate qualification and /or relevant work experience preferably in project administration.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of matters.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised. Planning, analysis and communication skills together with the ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands.
- Financial management experience and literacy, experience managing budgets and controlling income and expenditure for a project.
- Excellent administrative skills. Coupled with general understanding of the project lifecycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies.
- Experience and accuracy in Minute taking and generally in documenting meetings and engagements accurately
- Experience in Project Scheduling (MS Project)
