Esri Australia is the leader in the Australian geospatial sector and is the national distributor for the world-leading ArcGIS platform. We currently employ more than 200 of the country's brightest professionals from a range of disciplines, including business analytics, cartography, environmental science, software development and surveying.

About The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of business solutions based on the Esri platform as well as representing our brand and capability within the market. The Project Manager will assist leading a high-performing team, they will continually develop and mentor the consultancy team, project manage customer engagements and provide customer leadership.  This is a key role in our business focusing on our people and our customers.

You must be a self-motivated client centric experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in identifying, defining and delivering new technology and services.  You will be organised and analytical, adept at working at a technical level and at an executive level.  Your ability to handle multiple priorities and make business decisions on behalf of the Professional Services team, as well as proactively communicate with technical and business clients providing confidence in our ability to deliver, will make a key difference.

About You

• Experienced in a vendor and/or consulting environment, with the proven ability to deliver.
• Commercially astute with a customer centric approach and an ability to think outside the box to provide amazing solutions to our clients.
• Experienced with structured project management methods and processes, but pragmatic enough to adapt to the situation as required and proven ability to deliver.
• Ability to develop a Statement of Work for proposed projects.
• An excellent conceptual, lateral and pragmatic thinker.
• Strong people leadership skills with ability to mentor, develop and lead our people to their full potential.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

• A bachelor’ degree in associated business disciplines (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, etc.).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a Project Manager capacity.
• Proven software solution consulting experience in large enterprise environments.
• Certification in Project Management Methodologies.
• Demonstration of good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software solutions that optimises activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.
• Knowledge of geospatial technology will be highly regarded
• Experience in the utility sector will be highly regarded.
• Contract negotiation experience would be a plus
