The Gig
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced system accountant who has previously done some functional testing in core banking systems. Our client is migrating their banking detail products to a new platform (T24) and this role is about SMEs capable of doing general ledger testing and understand the accounting lifecycle of the products. In short, you will liaise with the finance and be responsible for receiving the output on general ledger and analyse the results.

You are a subject matter expert, your time is valuable and you know it, you know what needs to be tested and what doesn’t. It’s all about the priorities.
What you’ll NEED
- Banking and Financial Services experience essential (Ideally 3 years experience as a System accountant)
- Excellent communication
- Previous functional testing
- Knowledge of Standard Banking Products essential (deposits & variations)
- Experience in testing Financial Data Warehouse / Reporting
- Must understand the accounting lifecycle of the products.
- Ability to interpret and test accounting glossaries, PeopleSoft and Financial reconciliations
