We are offering an opportunity for an inquisitive and engaging individual to further develop their already established career as a permanent Business Analyst within our IS Business Engagement and Architecture Team based at our Lawnton Office.
Reporting to the Business Analyst Team Leader, you will be responsible for analysing problems and opportunities in order to clearly define, communicate and manage business requirements from an idea or concept through to the delivery of a fit for purpose solution.
Your typical day will focus on collaborating within a cross functional Squad, as part of our agile delivery approach, in order to deliver on our product backlogs. Working with business stakeholders and various members of the Information Services Team, the Business Analyst will interpret business and Customer needs into epics, features and user stories to drive the prioritisation and delivery of business solutions by the squad. By contributing to the product backlog development, grooming and sprint based delivery approach, the successful candidate will be well positioned to play a key role in how their squad effectively delivers value to the organisation and our Customers.
Additionally, you will share your developed knowledge and experience of Agile practices with our wider team in order to drive ongoing improvement.

If you are an experienced, solutions focussed BA with:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role as a BA or SME working within the retail sector (ideally with knowledge of the merchandise function)
- Strong experience as a solutions focused Business Analysts within an AGILE delivery approach,
- Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
- Commercial acumen and the ability to challenge and prioritise
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Understanding of analysis, modelling and design methods
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or business related discipline highly desirable
