About the role

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Infrastructure Admin (L3) to join our team of IT professionals. Based at our Head Office in Adelaide, you will be responsible for providing customer service and technical support to all staff across our businesses. You will utilise your technical skills to support the business maintaining the hardware and software environments while identifying process improvements and maintaining procedures.   

 

Key responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Support – Implementation of moderate and complex network changes, set priorities, meet deadlines and work within established parameters in close co-operation with operational staff and under the guidance of management. Advanced knowledge of security, routing and switching.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring – Working within a VMWare virtualised platform using remote client technologies, NSX, Windows domains, Sophos, UTM, Veeam.
  • Infrastructure Project - ownership for the quality and outcomes of assigned project work.
  • Troubleshooting – Identify and analyse hardware, software and system problems and resolve or refer to a specialist area ensuring in a timely solution and minimise disruption to operations.
  • Helpdesk Senior Support – Provide senior incident support as a service function to the business. You will provide IT services in a courteous and efficient manner while maintaining technical documentation to assist in a timely resolution.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT
  • Level 3 experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Outstanding customer, organisational and technical service skills
  • A sound knowledge of infrastructure systems (VMware and Linux)
  • Interest, commitment, and a desire in understanding emerging technologies and their appropriateness to technology operations.
  • Current drivers licence
