Our client URGENTLY requires an ICT Project Manager for a 4 months+ Contract in Darwin.
The project manager will join the Project Management Office (PMO) and will undertake a variety of project activities. Typically PMO project managers simultaneously manage between 6 and 15 projects depending on size and complexity. There is a SharePoint based project management system in place and the project management approach follows parts of the Prince 2 methodology.
Skills & Experience Required Includes:
- At least 5 years project management experience within an ICT or Telecoms environment
- Substantial and highly developed project and resource management skills – formal project management methodology training is highly regarded;
- Proven ability to lead staff and service providers in the successful delivery of complex ICT Infrastructure projects.
- Substantial knowledge in a number of areas of ICT services eg ICT infrastructure, software deployment &/or major change management projects.
- Understanding in the use of service management toolsets and task and change management.
Government experience highly-regarded!
