Our client; who offer legal aid to socially and economically disadvantaged people, are developing a new Client & Case Management System (CCMS), and in conjunction with this, are embarking on a program of work to improve business efficiencies.
They currently use the CASES case management system and are in the process of replacing the CASES Solution with a new system known as CCMS (Client and Case Management System) built on the Pegasystems platform.
An experienced agile project manager and scrum master is required for the introduction of a new case management system that will transform client services across the organisation. This will be for an initial six month contract with the view to renew for a further six months.
Key accountabilities:
- Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as the broader organisation.
- Mix of waterfall and Agile project reporting against fixed cost, scope and time.
- Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
- Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
- Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
- Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress.
- Facilitating Scrums and organising Elaboration sessions.
- Leading and coaching the organization in its Scrum/Agile adoption;
- Planning Iterations and Releases;
- Managing an external Vendor to deliver Iterations and Releases.
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in managing and leading fixed price agile projects with elaboration and testing by the internal team and delivery by an external vendor.
- 3+ years continuous tenure at one client, preferably on one project, in the past 3 years with budgets of approximately $2M running multiple SCRUMS as a ‘Master of Scrums’.
- Experience in Pegasystems using the PegaBPM methodology with external and internal integration, data and document migration dependencies.
- Experience working in the government sector with a strict budget, high levels of expectation and low levels of project management maturity across the organisation.
- Experience in RFX, contract management and drafting contract commercials.
