The Role
As we move into the next phase of growth we are seeking a Mid-Senior Android developer who will primarily be responsible for enhancing our Android applications, contributing to improving Whitecoat's market position and working with our IT, product, sales and operations teams to support and lead Whitecoat's complete transformation across 300,000 Medical Providers and millions of consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of Android applications & environments.
- Work within a cross-functional team to develop ideas that support the organisation’s key initiatives and objectives.
- Ensure the quality, consistency and timeliness of all application development work within project schedules.
- Responsible for staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and promoting usability best practices.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of developments and proposed changes to products.
- Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- Five years working in mobile application development using Java or Kotlin
- Commercial experience developing Android apps that have been published to the Play Store
- Proven experience working with RESTful APIs
- Proven experience with agile or lean methodologies
- Exposure to industry-standard approaches in designing secure high performance mobile applications.
