A large pharmaceutical manufacturing company is currently seeking an SAP Functional Consultant to join their I.T team. They are constantly ranked as one of the top performing companies in New Zealand with excellent customer service and product development. What will you do?
You will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and support of the financial and controlling areas of the SAP landscape. Working closely with the wider SAP team and the finance division the SAP FICO Specialist is responsible for delivering, maintaining and troubleshooting and enhancing SAP FICO functionality to meet business needs.

A day in the life:
Provide second level support for the helpdesk and end users for SAP FICO issues
Monitor and resolve issues around SAP FICO functionality or alerts
Work with third-party SAP support partners as required to fix issues
Provide after-hours second level support on the rostered basis
Conduct system FICO training with IT support staff

Your background:
6 years plus of SAP FICO configuration experience
A sound configuration knowledge of master data, GL, AP, AR Asset accounting and cash and bank accounting including new GL accounting, automatic payment programs, and closing cockpit
A sound configuration knowledge of cost element, cost center, internal order, product costing, profitability analysis and profit center accounting
Understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP (especially between FICO and SD, MM)
Experience of BWl BPC and BObj will be an advantage
