About the position
This12 month fixed term contract role is with an established and successful specialist Australian software and services vendor. Working in a small team, you will focus on designing, developing,maintaining and delivering complex new software solutions and enhancements to existing products.
This position is suitable for an experienced and talented, hands on .Net Software Engineer, who can/is interested to provide/contribute to technical thought leadership in a stimulating development environment.
About you
You possess exceptional skills and experience with the full MS.NET stack and the ability to develop solutions and concepts, maintain high code standards as well as solid analysis and design.
This role requires exceptional technical, communication and presentation skills along with the ability to operate effectively either as part of a team or independently.
With at least 5 years hands on development experience and the last 3 years working mostly on Web/Web based projects, you possess/have;
- Strong HTML 5 experience
- Strong ASP.NET MVC development experience
- Strong Web application development experience
- Strong business layer programming experience
- Strong C# experience
- Strong VB.NET experience
- Strong SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 programming skills
- MS.NET Winforms development experience
- Experience in code unit test frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- KENDO UI for ASP.NET MVC development experience
- MS Azure Software as a Service (SaaS) development experience
- Multithreaded application development skills
- Microsoft SSIS, SSRS and SSAS experience
- CSLA framework experience (preferable)
- Knowledge of the Australian Electricity and Gas markets(preferable)
- Knowledge of UML design techniques
